Vocalist Neville Staple and guitarist Lynval Golding were black and Jamaican born; vocalist Terry Hall and guitarist Roddy Radiation were white boys from England. Together, they formed a major part of the 2-Tone, ska-revival band the Specials, a perfect national, racial, and musical fusion of reggae and punk. Their self-titled debut album is a late-‘70s classic.

Here’s a CD-length taste of Specials. Dig it.
